Crochet a heart for Mother's Day.


This one doesn't need blocking, but it is still super cute and easy to do.

We are going to renovate our old farm house.


So, the white toilet/bath wagon thingy will be an important part of our family life the next many months.

We start by tearing down kitchen, utility room and bathroom. Meaning, I might not bother you that often with new crochet posts, while all this is going on.

Kids are brave and have been really helpful packing boxes. I'm a little worried today, as it isn't easy to find an alternative place for the stove, plus the washing machine decided to die yesterday. We do have a fridge though - for now.


With a little luck, I'll have a hobby/yarn room, when all this is over.
And most importantly. I'll do my best to ensure, no yarn gets hurt during the house project :)

The Bumpy hat has now been translated into Danish.

A few of my patterns are already available in more languages and it is possible to have a specific pattern translated by request. I miss talking crochet with my German translator anyway, so just write below or send me a message somewhere.

JFYI. The little girl figured out, that the tube can also be worn as a headband on warmer days. Clever girl.

My latest pattern is now available. The hat and tube are square and are very light, despite the bumpy, fluffy look.


It was my 3-year-old daughter, that requested the hat.

Sometimes it is difficult to join or sew two pieces together and make it look good.

Most guides about crochet and tension talks about how tight you hold the yarn with your non-dominant hand. This is only half the story, though.


What you do with the right hand (dominant hand) and what you do with your hook, is also important.
