Dahlia Table Runner Pattern

January 17, 2020

Need something new for setting the table? Maybe something that isn't too formal, but still adds a touch of style.

crochet table runner made from Bamboo Soft

Try this new crochet pattern and make an elegant table runner.

The table runner is made in one piece, so there are no pieces to join afterward. Yeah!

It will be approximately 32x104 cm (12.5x41"). And I've added instructions for how to change the length/width.

Yarn & Hook

The yarn used is the lovely Bamboo Soft from Scheepjes. 50% Rayon Fibers from Bamboo, 50% Cotton. It's very soft and might also work well for pillows or other interiors.

You'll need a very large hook in this pattern. Around 5mm (US H8, UK 6).

Littlebugz will create a yarn package including the pattern and 5 balls of Bamboo Soft. Keep an eye on my designer page there. I think she sends out the Danish version per default but just ask for it in English.

If you prefer to buy the pattern and buy yarn somewhere else, then head to LoveCrafts or to my Ravelry page.

Get a discount!

Part of the pattern instructions is similar to those from my Dahlia Washcloths pattern. Hence, there should be a discount, if you buy both patterns or if you already bought one of them and buy the other one. Unfortunately, this ONLY applies if you have an account on RAVELRY. I cannot make promotions at LoveCrafts, but write to me, if you are interested in both patterns and I'll see, what I can do for you!

Set the table with a table runner

A Tip

Be prepared for house guests on short notice. Once washed and blocked, you can roll the table runner around a cardboard roll. Make sure it is dry! Then it only takes a few seconds to put on your table. No wrinkles and no folds.
