The yarn bowl has three slits at the top, which keeps your yarn in place. The bowl can be carried as a little bag and you can easily remove any yarn from the bowl without cutting the yarn. Due to it being felted, it is relatively heavy for its size, which helps it stay, where you want it.
The pattern can be purchased from LoveCrafts and Ravelry and includes:

Being conscious about the different kinds of ribbing is an advantage, if you want to be able to change an existing pattern or make your own design.

A FREE pattern is out. It is a Mini Neck warmer made of the Tunisian Top Stitch Rib.
It fits a variety of sizes and will keep your upper chest warm under your jacket.
Go have a look. You can find the free pattern at LoveCrafts and on Ravelry.
I've had my beloved red ribbed hat for a while and I'm really happy about it.
The other day my 3½-year-old ran away with the hat and wouldn't return it. Later he asked if he could have one too - a red one! So the happy mom made one more red hat.
I didn't write the original pattern for small kids, but it can easily be adjusted.
Here is what to do.

A tester said: "It's is a very lightweight feeling on my head when compared to a hat made in regular crochet stitches. And much stretchier. Just all-around more comfortable."
The back of the Tunisian Top Stitch has similarities to a chain mail - at least when using a large hook. I made a chain mail costume for our boy. I'll show you how to make one too.
The project is fast and it doesn't matter, if you make a little mistake here and there. So feel free to try even if you just learned to do the Tunisian Top Stitch.
This is a detailed guide, not a make-it-in-5-different-sizes pattern. Grab your yarn, measure tape, a shirt of approximately the right size and your creativity.

Though - come to think of it. Sometimes it is not necessary. See here how to do a Reversed Tunisian Top Stitch - aka Reversed Bump Stitch.

A little Toy for Your Next Project?
Babies love smiley faces. This is a happy little sun that crackles when squeezed. The sun is loved by my 1½-year old girl as well as my 3-year old toddler. You can make it of leftover yarn.It is perfect as a present for a baby shower. Make 3 of them and put them on a string and you have a stroller toy, the baby will love!
The Smiley Sun amigurumi pattern is currently available as part of a 3-piece package at LoveCrafts in Danish and English.
Or can be bought individually at Ravelry in both Languages.

It doesn't feel long ago since I discovered the Tunisian Top Stich - aka Bump Stitch. This certainly is my favorite Tunisian stitch of today.
I've done minor testing on different ways to use it - like for ribbing - and I think the stitch has great potential. Meaning it can unlock new possibilities for Tunisian crochet patterns.
